Very good condition

A very rare variant of the M43 field cap featuring a single button at the front, produced for the Wehrmacht. Archival photographs clearly confirm that caps of this type were used by Wehrmacht soldiers during the Second World War.
The cap retains its original factory-applied, machine-sewn Wehrmacht trapezoid insignia on the front. It is marked with the manufacturer’s stamp and size.
The cap is in very nice preserved condition. Finding an example in such a state of preservation on today’s collectors’ market is increasingly difficult.
