An original WWII-period Waffen-SS cavalry officer’s crusher cap, featuring a leather visor and a velvet cap band typical for SS units. The cap shows light service wear, with a few shallow marks on the exterior consistent with age and use. Inside, traces of mildew are visible beneath the liner, and the leather has become dry and somewhat stiff over time.
Despite these signs of aging, the cap remains in overall good condition, retaining its authentic shape and character. All details — including the interior lining, insignia placement, and stitching — are well-preserved and visible in the high-resolution photographs provided below.
This is a very rare and highly desirable piece for serious WWII collectors, especially those interested in Waffen-SS or cavalry-related artifacts. Such items rarely appear on the market, making this an exceptional opportunity to acquire an original example with genuine period patina
