Ultra rare, only one on the market ever, M16 Helmet shell of Danzig Polizei. Unit has only 3.000 men. After 1939 the unit was moved to Wehrmacht and part to SS HeimwehrDanzig. The shell has painted decals, before WWII it was changed for regular decals. Due to the fact decals are painted, the shell was gave to the Polish Torun University. The paint was confirmed as authenthic and period by one of the best polish experts in paint examinations (the expert took part in examination of original Titian painitng). The certificate clearly describes whole process of examination, with makro photograps of paint pieces. The certificate will be included to the helmet. The copper DRGM rivets added postwar. This is the only helmet of Danzig Polizei that ever showed on the market. Only one example of M35 helmet with standard decals appeared on the forum, but this is the first one with painted symbols.
There are few sceptical opinions about the helmet as it has painted decals. It was found in tenement at Danzig city. I do guarantee of the originality of this helmet with my own experience as also with the expensive certificate of paint examination. The last photo on shows the soldier of Danzig Polizei with period painted skull on it.

I just found out that Warhats company wich are selling reproductions of WWII items just copied pattern of my AUTHENTIC PAINTED DECALS! And selling them on their website. Just for your information, i am sure some fake helmets will be poping out, trying to look as mine example!
