A German paratrooper Fallschirmjäger splinter camouflage helmet cover. Period example manufactured in splinter camouflage printed cloth, featuring the typical drawstring and foliage loops. The material remains in overall solid condition with visible wear consistent with field use. The drawstring is intact and original, showing natural aging. The camouflage cloth displays authentic use with light soiling, fading, and service-related patina.
The inside is stamped with a “2” marking, an interesting production detail.
This is a true combat-worn example, showing the details expected on a wartime piece. The cover retains good shape, with stitching and reinforcement bands well preserved. Designed to fit standard Fallschirmjäger helmets, size 66
