M43 Waffen SS Panzer field cap. Cap was stripped out of insignia, it is hard to determine when exactly. From the size of the shadow on the left side, you can tell there was an arm SS eagle applied. Remainings of the BEVO eagle are 100% cotton. The cap was stamped with size and RB number. It means that cap might been manufactured for Heer - but used by SS. Leave it in condition as is, maybe another owner will be in possession of matching, worn BEVO set. Rare item.
